George Santos appears to have been caught in another lie Santos had claimed that his mother was a survivor of 9/11.
The Republican’s campaign website says his mother “survived the events on September 11, but she passed away a few years later when she lost her battle to cancer.”
Immigration records, however, shows that Santos’ mother wasn’t even in the country during the terrorist attacks.
