2 Women and a Man were stuck in a large hole in Huntington Station Thursday morning.
Suffolk County police say they initially responded to a home in Huntington Station just after 6 a.m. for a report of a woman stuck in a hole in the ground. When they arrived, they found her — and two others — in the hole.
The hole was about six feet deep and six feet wide in the front yard of a single-family home.
Two of the people who had been trapped were taken to a hospital for evaluation, while the third wasn’t hurt — and it’s still not clear how all three ended up in the hole.
The Town of Huntington Building Inspector was called to evaluate the property and determine what caused the hole.
