Thousands of healthcare workers across New York State staged a walk out rally Wednesday afternoon to protest Gov. Hochul’s proposed budget.
Healthcare workers are asking the governor to invest $2.5 billion more into the 2024 healthcare budget.
A spokesperson for the Governor says she is continues to work with the legislature to deliver a final budget that meets the needs of all New Yorkers.
