A person of interest connected to the shooting of a rookie NYPD officer in Queens on Wednesday has been taken into custody, according to multiple law enforcement sources.
The individual was taken into custody in the Bronx Thursday night
Officer Brett Boller a NYPD officer from Hauppauge is expected to be OK after he was shot in Queens Wednesday afternoon.
Boller was shot in the hip by the suspect. Boller was one of the officers called to the scene because of a fight on an MTA bus.
