The Suffolk County’s special counsels on cyber security met for the first time on Monday to probe the cyberattack in September.
The meeting of the Cyber Intrusion Investigation Committee says the attack impacted 500,000 people, with hackers gaining access to driver’s license and Social Security information through the county clerk’s network.
The next meeting will be held on May 8.
