Rep. Robert Garcia a House Democrat from California has started the process of forcing a floor vote on a resolution to expel Rep. George Santos from Congress.
In a statement posted on Twitter, Garcia wrote “George Santos is a fraud and a liar, and he needs to be expelled by the House.”
House Republicans now have two days to call a vote and go on the record whether they support Santos.
