20 -year-old Janell Funderburke the Coram man accused of shooting a Suffolk police officer has been charged in a 13 count grand jury indictment and will face a judge on Thursday.
Police say Funderburke shot officer Michael LaFauci in the leg while he was being investigated for an armed robbery. Officer LaFauci was released from the hospital last week.
