Nassau police say a teenager was charged with bringing a firearm to Freeport High School.
The school principal was initially notified about a photo of a student holding what appeared to be a gun inside a bathroom in the school.
Police were notified and following an investigation, the student was arrested and charged with criminal possession of a firearm on school grounds.
