At Saint Joseph Hospital in Bethpage the emergency room was temporarily shut down Wednesday night following an electrical fire.
Bethpage fire officials say it began in the hallway behind the ambulance bay a little after 4pm
The emergency room was forced to close due to smoke in the hallway. No injuries were reported.
