All students in Farmingdale High School bus crash expected to recover

Officials say all of the injured students from Thursday’s Farmingdale High School charter bus crash are expected to recover.
Farmingdale High School band director Gina Pellettiere and former history teacher Beatrice Ferrari were killed in the crash. Funeral services for both will be held this week.
Regency Transportation the charter bus company that was transporting the marching band reportedly has an “unacceptable” rating from the New York State Department of Transportation, and has failed five of its last 15 semi-annual state inspections.
