A West Hempstead woman has been arrested after police say she left her baby alone in a car.
Officers say they received a call after a witness saw a 10-month-old boy unattended in a car parked behind the Lidl super market in Franklin Square.
Police found the baby alone in the car and crying.
The boy’s mom was arrested and charged with child endangerment.
