Police are searching for a man who allegedly walked off with boxes of silver bars worth more than $90,000 from the UPS Customer Service Center in East Farmingdale in November.
There were at least 36 bars of silver inside seven boxes stolen. After showing his fake ID, the man was able to sign for them, then load them into his car and drive away in a dark-colored vehicle.
Suffolk Police are offering a cash reward for any information that leads to an arrest. Those with details about the theft or the suspect are asked to contact the Suffolk County Crime Stoppers or submit an anonymous tip by calling 1-800-220-TIPS.
