The FAA is investigating a small plane crash that happened at MacArthur Airport in Islip on Monday killing two people.

Officials say a single-engine plane crashed near the end of the runway at the airport around 6 p.m.

The two adult men who were killed have not yet been identified. The cause of the crash is not known.
