The Coast Guard announced that it suspended its search for a missing kayaker in Lloyd Harbor.
Another vessel reported finding the vacant kayak Friday afternoon. Officials said there was live bait, a fishing pole and a backpack on board.
The Coast Guard searched an area of more than 460 miles for 27 hours for the missing boater. They are asks anyone with information that could identify the kayaker to call the agency.
