Jake’s 58 is warning Long Island customers about a scam that says the casino is now accepting wagers for online gambling.
Posts have appeared on Facebook and Instagram from a company calling itself “Top Slots,” that falsely claims to represent Jake’s 58.
At least one customer provided the scammer with their bank account information and had an undetermined amount of money stolen. Officials are urged people not to click any suspicious links or download any related content.
