Federal Highway Administration approves congestion pricing

The Federal Highway Administration’s has given final approval for the MTA’s congestion pricing program, even though Gov. Kathy Hochul has put the plan on pause just weeks before it was due to be activated on June 30.
Hochul stopped the plan to ease the economic costs to drivers.
