Early voting on Long Island ended Sunday

Election Day is Tuesday with Polls opening at 6am and closing at 9pm. Early voting on Long Island wrapped up Sunday. It is estimated over 75 Million people have already voted across the U.S. In addition to the Prudential, Congressional, Senate and local elections, there are 2 propositions being voted on for Long Island.

Proposition 1 or the Equal Rights Amendment (ERA) — is a statewide referendum designed to codify abortion rights into the state Constitution.

Clean water is on the ballot in Long Island’s Suffolk County.

Proposition 2 asks voters to approve a small new sales tax to protect drinking water and waterways.
