George Santos to be sentenced Friday

On Friday a federal judge will sentence former congressman George Santos who is facing up to 87 months in prison. Santos was expelled from the House of Representatives in2023 following an investigation by the House Ethics Committee and he pleaded guilty last year to wire fraud and aggravated identity theft and other frauds charges.
