MTA approves congestion pricing plan
The MTA board on Monday voted in favor of Gov. Hochul’s revised congestion pricing plan. The 12-1 vote OKs the plan to start Jan. 5, 2025, The plan still needs federal approval. The new plan reduces the base toll to $9 from the $15 toll that was suppose to go into effect earlier this year.
